Cardiac aware: It is called cardiac aware. Some individuals are just more sensitive to their cardiac function than others. You have said there is nothing wrong but you should confirm this with a health care professional to be certain your blood pressure is OK and your valves and heart muscle function is normal. Some heart problems are asymptomatic in young individuals until it is too late to fix things.

Reassuring that...: Reassuring that you heard the heartbeat at 7.5 weeks. Still possible to have a miscarriage, and there is not way to tell you with certainty that the new red spotting isn't this, but if it is, there is nothing to do to prevent it. So i would suggest taking that as the positive sign it is, relaxing, and looking forward to your next appointment, at ~11 weeks, when you should be able to hear it again!

Depends: It depends on what you mean by rapid and if it is sustained - some people run a little fast (100-120) and this can be chronic - certainly if you are having rapid heart rates of 150 beats or more per minute with shortness of breath and / or chest pain you should go to the er.   If you are just running a little fast then you should make an appointment to see your doctor for checkup.

You can, but…: The Asian flush, as you term it , is caused by an enzyme which makes you metabolize alcohol into acetaldehyde. Since this is a genetic issue, Pepcid and Claritin (loratadine) will not help, although you can take them with alcohol in reasonable doses. Also, there is an increased risk of esophageal cancer with alcohol intake in patients with the Asian flush, so  you should avoid regular drinking. Good luck.

Hello. : Hello. I am so sorry for your loss. A weak cervix is also called an incompetent cervix. If this is the case, it can be a cause for miscarriage or premature labor.  An incompetent cervix can be problematic in subsequent pregnancies. However, in this type of a situation. A cerclage is often done, which helps to keep the cervix closed until the fetus is old enough to be delivered.  Your doctor will be able to tell you more about this. Take care.
