what do you advise for heart is beating harder than usual?

Many causes: Aortic stenosis, aortic regurgitation, mitral regurgitation, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, uncontrolled hypertension, thyrotoxicosis, arrhythmias - they all can cause your heart to beat harder than usual.  Alternatively, it can be simple cardiac awareness.  An echocardiogram, rhythm recording,  and blood samples are needed to sort out the cause.

why does my heart feel loud and like its beating hard but its bpm is only 70?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

No: It doesn't need to beat hard to pump the blood. Most of the time we are not aware that it's even working. I won't be concerned about this.

Get evaluated: Get evaluated as it sounds like an arrythmia ... Possible atrial fibrillation if pulse irregular.  Don't delay.

Atrial fibrillation.: intermittent atrial fibrillation/flutter.  Suggest you go to cardiologist soon!

Having palpitations?: Palpitations can come any time, and it can be scary for some folks. At times we don't know why, but sometimes there are reasons--anxiety/panic attacks, thyroid disease, medication side effects, drug/alcohol use/abuse, heart-attacks, fever/infections, heart-conductions problem, excessive caffeine/stimulants etc..If persistent/concerning to you, consult doc for an eval. Heartbeat: There is daily and even hourly heart beat variation.  Emotion,  exercise ,stress, illness  can all effect heart rate, as can medications and thyroid status. But sometimes even when we think our heart is beating fast ,it s really isn't. Check your pulse at the  times you think it is beating fast.  May consider EKG f/u w/doc urgent  care.

See a doctor: people at times have palpitations, or a sudden increase heart rate and the awareness of the beating, that is normal.  however, dehydration, sickness, anxiety and cardiac problems can all contribute.  getting blood work up and an ekg (a test to check your heart rate and rhythm) is a good idea

: Does every beat feel stronger or just some beats? This can be a form of palpitation, when one beat feels stronger than another. To determine if there is an issue, a cardiac (Holter) monitor can be applied to see if there is any arrhythmia to account for the sensation. A cardiologist could evaluate you and determine if a cardiac monitor would be helpful. Good luck!
