Yes: Having palpitations and fainting episodes are serious symptoms that need a full evaluation. You may need evaluation by a cardiologist. He may consider EKG,Echo and or Holter monitor

Yes: palpitations in the morning is not uncommon . the body is gearing up for the day and catacholamines are on the rise to prepare you for the day. The GERD can also do this . while lying flat reflux of acid irritates the esophagus and causes palptitations. A holter,echo,upper GI all can help determine causes.

You may: be experiencing "ORTHOSTATIC" (postural) LOW BLOOD PRESSURE (hypotension)  The pulse increase is to compensate for this.

Time to see a doctor: A young woman who feels palpitations should be checked by her primary care doctor (family medicine or internal medicine, not Ob-Gyn) to make sure her body is ok from a general check-up point of view, and to listen to her heart. It could just be that she is out of shape and trying to exercise herself back into shape. But, it could also be that her heart is beating irregularly for another reason.

Can cause insomnia: Buspar - buspirone - can cause insomnia, including waking up during the night. But causing palpitations is unusual. I wonder if the palpitations are part of the anxiety that you are probably being treated with Buspar? If anxiety is not managed it may seem like Buspar is perhaps causing it?

3 years ago, i started getting heart palpitations when i sleep. there's no fear, stress or anxiety. just neutral. the palpitations only happen when i'm unconscious. when i wake up it slows back down. i don't even have to move. what is going on?

: If you never had a holter monitoring in the past you should have one done first to confirm frequent ectopic heart beats or other cardiac arrhythmia as the cause of your palpitation. Further work-up for differential diagnosis is different if cardiac arrhythmia is present or not during sleep. Good luck!
