i have a tumor slightly bigger than a golf ball in my abdomen, probably due to ovarian cancer. also have a history of heart attack and 3 stents. can i stay on plavix (clopidogrel) and still have the surgery?

Best to ask doctors.: Your cardiologist and gynecological surgeon will need to have an input in the decision to stop/continue the plavix (clopidogrel).

hypochondriac. in the last year i have had a colonoscopy, egd, november ct scan abdomen and pelvis blood work all good. 67 years old heart tests. always constipated. started citrucel. bloating. pain from breasts down. could this be ovarian cancer?

: If ovarian cancer causes those symptoms, it will be much easier for us to detect this horrible cancer which is most the time diagnosed in late phase. No, your symptom is consistent with constipation and adverse effect of citrucel. You should try a different laxative.

Doctor can evaluate: What we typically call junk food doesn't cause any heart symptoms before, during, or after meals, when compared to any other typical foods we eat. The only exception would be foods or drinks with high levels of caffeine, which can cause palpitations or fast heart rates. Thus, one's primary care doctor can evaluate to find out what the palpitations are, and what might be leading to them.

No: Haven't heard of onion palpitations. Green onions and yellow onions aren't spicy enough to create the excitement that might lead to sensations of palpitations. Eating cooked onions should be fine, just like eating other cooked vegetables. Theoretically, getting hit in the heart by a big yellow onion flying at high speed can cause a problem, similar getting hit by a baseball, so don't throw onions.

Depends on cause!: Regular exercise decreases circulating catecholamines, which increase the risk of common palpitations.  But there are some types, where exercise should pose a danger.  I would recommend a hoter monitor test to decide if it is a pat vs pvc!
