Palpitations : Palpitations (irregular heart beats) can be caused by multiple conditions.  It is important that you have an ekg and be evaluated.  Electrolyte disturbances in our blood (sodium, potassium), medications, thyroid condition or even underlying heart disease can cause palpitations.  Sometimes the easiest thing is to have your local firefighters run a rhythm strip for you, and they will advise if you need to go to the hospital.  If you feel lightheaded, faint, have any chest pain or symptoms, then you need to be seen as an emergency.

i get these chest pains on both sides. sometimes i feel like  needle is sticking in it and gently comes out. rarely my heart feels like it skips beat

Evaluation: You should see cardiology to have EKG and echo cardiogram to find the cause so to be treated

Needs evaluation: This is unusual for a healthy young adult.  Such symptoms in general may require cardiac and or respiratory evaluation, or even maybe gi.  While this may be of non-cardiac etiology guessing about it risks the safety of health - formal medical eval asap would generally be suggested.

Effects of anger: Anger and stress are not healthy for the heart, but a cardiologist would have to evaluate you to determine what, if any, damage there is. Seeking help for the anger (whether it's by therapy, medication, yoga, or anger management classes) would be advised to help not just your heart health but your overall physical and mental well-being.

Muscle twitch: You are probably having twitches of your chest wall muscles.  Generally not a cause for concern but talk to your doctor about it.

Many . . .: Possible causes may include medications (including over the counter/supplements), drugs and alcohol, metabolic problems like thyroid disorders, poor sleep, problems with anxiety, or even problems with 'wiring' of the heart itself--although this is much less common. If this is something new, you should really see your doctor for an evaluation. Best of luck.

PalpitationsCommonly: due to cardiac arrhythmias, about 70% of the time. Intensity of each heartbeat is a function of time delay between contractions because a key control is heart filling for intensity of each contraction, both within heart &amp; especially split-second brain control. Thus early contractions are weaker than usual, longer delays result in stronger contractions which commonly catch people&#x27;s attention.

Doctor visit: Go in and see your Doc tomorrow( before the weekend).Call and tell receptionist that you are having Chest Pain the past 24 hrs and they will get you in. If not,go to ER. Must check Cardiovascular system.

See your family doc: Your symptoms may likely be related to mitral valve prolapse, a relatively benign condition but still requiring work up and care. Your doctor needs to see you to rule out any more serious, but much less likely, conditions.  Your sore chest could be costochondritis (inflammation of the chest wall), but for htis complex of complaints there is no simple answer without seeing a medical provider.
