No and no: There are many options to replace losartan and a detailed discussion with treating cardiologist should clarify options. If a drug is not tolerated is understandable and it is never the patient's fault/shame, relatively commonly seen in practice.

HD: if your kidneys have failed, then the fluid accumulated, will accumlate on your lungs, and legs, depending on how bad the kidney failure is, the soloution would be hemodialysis or at least consult with a kidney specialist (nephrologist)

Three Main Causes: 1. Overactive bladder, from several secondary causes (nerve problems, prostate problems, infection, bladder irritants) or just plain oab.
2. Overall increased urine production (diabetes, diuretics, brain injury etc.).
3. Increased nighttime urine production (sleep apnea, age, fluid retention).
Management focuses on finding an underlying problem.  In true oab, medicines to calm the bladder are used.

my mom as kidney failure and heart failure but she is quite strong still independant.can she live a pretty normal life after starting dializes? and what foods can she eat and not eat ? does dializes balance her electrolytes regardless what she eats?

: Fairly normal is a better term.  Some do very well.  Dialysis takes over some functions of the kidney but one can out  ear dialysis and die quickly. For example eating 2 much salt will worsen BP &amp;  heart failure. She is in control

Stopping the anit-rejection medications can lead to acute rejection, chronic transplant damage and ultimately the failure of a transplant. The liver would fail. Liver failure has symptoms of yellowing of your skin and eyeballs, pain in your upper right abdomen, a swollen belly, nausea, vomiting, general sense of feeling unwell, confusion and sleepiness. It is uncertain how long that will take.

Depends on heart: It depend on general health and associated health conditions especially heart disease. Heart failure by itself doesn't prevent someone from getting kidney transplant. I guess she was evaluated in a transplant center and being followed by a cardiologist.

hi dr mom has kidney and heart failure was released from hospital few days ago .its now two weeks she is on dializes she seems to be getting stronger each day .should i  worry about her blood pressure when taken this morning it was 104/44/49.thanks?

: If not having symptoms ( new/ worsening of chronic symptoms), blood pressure being accurately measured and close to her baseline, medium to long term dialysis will become increasingly difficult. Otherwise with symptoms, including changes in mental status, her docs should be informed/ seeking medical attention will be appropriate.

bottom of pants leg leaves marks in skin and they aren't even tight like socks. is this a potential sign of edema from heart failure or kidney failure?

: It is a sign of possible edema which may be from venous insufficiency, heart,kidney or liver problems. If you observe that apparent leg or ankle swelling goes away overnight, edema seems likely and warrants an evaluation by your physician or a specialist in internal medicine. Appropriate testing will be done including blood tests, urinalysis and leg ultrasound depending upon the assessment.
