Throbbing is c/w: vascular, i.e. migraine mechanism of headache. If carefully applied compression of the lower portion of carotid artery (decreasing blood pressure to the meningeal arteries on the left side), this would confirm the mechanism of the pain. Holding it for about a minute may also help stop stop pain, especially if done before painful very long, eg. 15-20 min.

Bppv: migraine sufferer is at higher risk for BPPV which causes positional vertigo (due to a dislodged stone in your ear). it is fixed by an Epley maneuver. alternatively you could be having a vestibular migraine where vertigo is part of it and is not going to be improved by an Epley. you need to talk to a neurologist to adress all this and consider prophylactic medication if your headaches are frequent

i went to the er sunday night (7/23) and they gave me an injection of toradol. since then my chest feels like i've had caffeine, occasional pounding heart beat, and head feels like it's being poked with something dull. is this normal?

: You forgot to tell us the reason of ER visit. It's difficult to say if those symptoms are the side effects of toradol because the medication is no longer in your system after two days. Take care.

Blood pressure: Blood pressure is the most likely culprit and should be checked.  Depending on how long the symptoms last, could also be problems with hormone such as serotonin or thyroid.  Seek out medical attention immediately if you have chest pain, vision changes, dizziness, weakness, or severe headache.

Atenolol: Sometimes when the heart rate slows from beta blocker therapy the stroke volume increases and people feel the pulsations. This is not a common occurence however.

Heart beat in head: Either you might be suffering from high blood pressure or cerebtral anuerysms or feeling carotid upstrokes. You need physician consultation for correct diagnosis and treatment.
