I went to the er sunday night (7/23) and they gave me an injection of toradol. since then my chest feels like i've had caffeine, occasional pounding heart beat, and head feels like it's being poked with something dull. is this normal?

You forgot to tell us the reason of ER visit. It's difficult to say if those symptoms are the side effects of toradol because the medication is no longer in your system after two days. Take care.
