Hard to Say: A lot depends on the quality, location, and association with any neurological symptoms. Certainly if there are associated neurological problems like blurred or double vision, nausea or vomiting, dizziness, weakness or numbness--these would be serious. If the headaches increase in frequency or duration, that would be serous. Perhaps a formal evaluation by a neurologist might help to sort things out.

ive been getting headaches that last for a few seconds and then go away. the pain is dull and not that bad overall. they happen in the area above my eyes or at the back of my head. sometimes i feel pressure in my ears as well. should i be concerned?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Keep hydrated by drinking enough water so that your urine is mostly colorless. Regular aerobic exercise would be helpful. Begin with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity so that you sweat profusely.

i get a headache that lasts anywhere from a few seconds to a minute after i cough or sneeze. im worried it could be a brain issue. i just had sinus surgery 3 weeks ago, but had this headache way before surgery. i have allergies and sinus issues?

: I would consider this to be a transient irritability of a superficial scalp nerve or muscle rather than of intracranial origin such as occurs with pseudotumor cerebri, brain tumors,aneurysm, etc. A neurologist could evaluate &amp;advise you  best if you still have concerns.

: I'm not quite sure you're experiencing migraine headaches. Muscle contraction tension headaches are a more likely cause of continual headaches like yours. You need diagnostic clarity.  I recommend that you consult a neurologist for accurate diagnosis &amp; proper treatment options. Any appropriate testing will be done. You may be referred for stress management therapy depending upon the findings.

If this is happening more towards the evening it could be Tension headaches arising from the daily stressors of life. If this is happening intensely over a few months and then disappears this could Cluster headaches. However there are other sinister causes which can be ruled out by a CT scan

Post concussive : After a concussion it is not unusual to have some persistent headache, dizziness, vertigo or general malaise.  So long as the symptoms are getting better slowly, I wouldn't worry too much.  If increased activity worsens the symptoms, slow down and see if doing a little less helps improve your symptoms.  It may take 4-6 weeks to get back to normal. If you are getting worse, go see your doctor!!

Varies!: They can last 15 minutes to one hour! you can prophylaticly take Naproxen before you exercise, and diminish there likelyhood of occurring!
