What is question?: Headaches that are one sided and associated with light sensitivity suggests migraine,  and one would expect a normal head CT.  Migraine can be caused by sensitivtiy to different foods, lack of sleep, hormonal shifts and stress.  Discuss management with your doctor.  Some Meds work best at onset of headache, others daily for prevention.  Also discuss anger management options.  Good luck.

Possible migraine: Headaches that occur on one side of the head are often migraines. These can be throbbing headaches, associated with nausea, sensitivity to bright light or loud noises, and occasionally flashing lights and visual changes. If this describes your headache, try taking an NSAID (ie. Ibuprofen) as soon as the headache starts to abort it before it gets worse. If this is a frequent problem, see an md.

Neurologic symptoms: Headaches are common, approaching 100% of people have headaches.  It would be serious if accompanied by neurologic symptoms, such as weakness, numbness, trouble speaking or seeing.  See your physician for an exam, and treatment.  It could be an extended migraine.

Maybe migraine: During or following a migraine headache, skin sensitivity termed allodynia can occur.  Best approach to handle this is to see your physician, treat current symptoms but focus on future headache prevention.
