i have 24/7 headache in forehead. dr said tension. mri was clean. i sleep with fan in my face all night. could it be the cause or making worse?

Persistent headache : Does it occur in cold weather too? Does it go away with tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen? Do you have stuffy nose or nasal allergies? Is your B/P ok,  did have an eye exam lately? I don't think the fan has anything to do with it.  Try to sleep without the fan one night &amp; see what happens  may be it dry your nasal mucosa, use aline nose drops before bed time. If they persisted consult a neurologist . Good luck

Hard to know: The description is consistent with sinus pressure.  Inflammation/pain can nonspecifically be related to neck stiffness and fatigue.  There are many causes for sinus diease (allergy, non-allergic irritant exposure, temperature/weather sensitivity, structural problems, infection and more).  Discuss with a physician practiced in treating sinusitis/rhinitis to determine causation and treatment plan.

Doctor can recheck: Regardless of whether or not a child has tonsillitis, if he has severe headaches and high fever, he can be rechecked by his doctor or the ER. Sometimes a child has a bad case of a common illness. Sometimes it is a bad illness such as bacterial meningitis. The ER may do some blood tests or other tests to see if something bad is happening. Viruses can also be the cause, not just bacteria.

Osteopth is best doctor to evaluate, especially for chronically tilted head and crossed muscle syndrome in the superior trapezium.  Evaluation by seasoned Physical Therapist might be useful.
