Yes but...: Hcg is not likely going to cause any harm but weight loss is due to the severe caloric restriction. In men with low testosterone and normal testes, it may work better because the HCG will increase the testosterone level. In women, HCG may increase progesterone. Higher Progesterone may lead to less anxiety and therefore less eating. Overall, smart eating plus increased activity is a better choice.

I wouldn't recommend: I wouldn't recommend the combination of domperidone and the HCG diet . I also wouldn't recommend the HCG diet.

No data on this: Very little research has been done on the HCG diet and the risk for infertility.  Because there is very little research on this diet i never recommend this diet to my patients.

Absolutely: You must do the diet under supervision of a qualified physician, injectable HCG not drops, and strict adherence to the original 500 calorie diet and not a modified version of it with higher calories.  You can lose 1-2 lbs of fat per day. Stevia and saccharin are the only sweeteners allowed on this diet.

HCG diet?: Not effective per se.  It is the paired diet that works! no one needs heavy exercise.  Moderate exercise in more frequent doses works well!
