i have a headache on my left eye,  this is caused by swelling ovver the eye where l noticed a pimple.  how do l get rid of the swellinf anf headached. the eye is sore aswell.

:  There are several variables to your concern. Is there an infection deeper than the skin?  I cannot provide you advice without seeing and evaluating the issue, but it may need antibiotics by mouth. This can be serious to need you to go to the hospital for CT scan.

i was punched in the head the night before last. the swelling went down but still sore and tender. mild headaches. should i be seen to be safe?

Yes ....: You should see someone if the headache is getting worse since one need to rule out a subdural hematoma.  If you are getting better and the headaches are gone within a week, then just let it be. When in doubt, you should consult your doctor since it is better to err on the side of safety.

Unlikely: Unlikely to have a broken nose in the absence of swelling and bruising. A visit to your doctor and an xray can tell you for sure.

Orbital fracture...: can only be ruled out in person w/ exam &amp; x-ray. Depakote can cause heavy bleeding/bruising. Would get CT/MRI of eye region itself if, due to soft tissue swelling/bruising, it seems to impinge on nerves &amp; muscles required for eye movement. Damage to the eye carries a significant infectious risk as well since the optic nerve/vascular complex perforates the skull and leads right into brain tissue.

Glands: Your neck glands can be swollen from a viral infection, sinus infection, teeth problem, etc. If your symptoms persist for more than 72 hours see your doctor to determine the cause.

Listen to MD: Brain swelling is an ominous sign, but after being checked by an md should point you in the right direction. Headaches by themselves should not be a reason to be concerned about cerebral swelling. 
Try to be optimistic , and listen to your md's recommendations.

Head injury : You should rest and avoid anything that causes increased symptoms. With your history of frequent head injury I would recommend you get examined if symptoms persist for more than a few days
