Orbital fracture...: can only be ruled out in person w/ exam & x-ray. Depakote can cause heavy bleeding/bruising. Would get CT/MRI of eye region itself if, due to soft tissue swelling/bruising, it seems to impinge on nerves & muscles required for eye movement. Damage to the eye carries a significant infectious risk as well since the optic nerve/vascular complex perforates the skull and leads right into brain tissue.
