Pulse: Generally if your systolic is higher you will feel a larger and more forceful pulse wave.

: Make sure you're not to cold as this can restrict blood flow to your fingers and give a false low sat as can excessive skin thickness or very dark pigmentation. Keep your finger still and below heart level during measurement. There are expensive pulse oximeters you could use. Otherwise the only other way to measure O2 sat is to draw blood out of an artery..

No connection: Although it would seem to follow that the higher your blood pressure the stronger your pulse would be, I don't believe that is the case. A week or non-palpable pulse may indicate the presence of partial or complete blockage of an artery by atherosclerosis. My guess is that you are not palpating in the correct area to feel your pulse. If you had no pulse you wouldn't be able to write us :)
