i have 2 week old, 1.5 in diameter, hard painful lump growing on the outside of my upper pelvic bone. no discoloration or injuries. what could it be?

Cyst vs abscess: Clogged pore or cyst can enlarge &amp; become painful. They can also become infected, especially if ingrown hair. Ice is good to apply to injuries while warmth is good for infections. Use indelible ink to mark circumference around lump. If it grows beyond, then go see your family doc. May need to get drained.

i have a bruise on my pelvic bone that just showed up for no reason no trauma now it has a hard lump under it and it has a burning sensation. could this be something serious?

Unlikely, but: For a diagnosis you need to be seen , as more questions need to be answered: is it mobile or attached to underlying structure? is it stemming from the bone or muscle,? how old is the lesion? any other symptoms? so better have a doctor's visit, good luck

I don't know: It could be anything- from a bony spurt, bone cyst, benign tumor, bone cancer etc. You need to see your md and discuss more about possibilities. Some imaging should be done- mri, bone scan, biopsy should be considered in the right setting.

Needs evaluation: You may need an MRI or biopsy of the lesion. Please have it checked sooner than later. Incidently, when it comes to lumps it doesn't matter if it is painful or not. It needs to be checked out.

Inguinal knot: There are a few possibilities. It could very well be an enlarged lymph node. This usually happens when we become ill or have a urinary or sexually transmitted disease. Another possibility is an inguinal hernia. Questions to answer are is there fever? Pain? When does the pain come on? Go away? Any other infectious symptoms? I would see your doctor for a complete examination. Hope that helps

Lymph node: Most likely an inguinal lymph node.  It may be related to inflammation from waxing.  It will likely resolve with time.  See you clinician if it becomes painful or increases in size.
