Probably bled: More than likely you caused bleeding inside the lip, and this formed a fibrous clot that now feels like a lump. If that, it will, slowly resorb. But it could be more serious like an infection/abscess, that may need antibiotic and surgical drainage/removal. A human bite is the dirtiest and most dangerous in the animal kingdom. Is he still ur boyfriend? Young woman, never do that again (or, guy, run).

Mucocele : I agree most mucoceles are relatively soft. If this occurred from biting your lip, it could be a more hard fibrous lesion called a fibroma. Not likely to be anything serious but should see a doctor to check it out.

Hematoma: The lips are vascular meaning they have a high blood supply.  You have a hematoma which is a swelled bruise.  It will go away most likely without any problems.  Putting a hot pack on it will speed up the recovery.

Fibroma: Hello, it sounds like you have developed a fibroma from the trauma of biting your lip. Avoid further trauma as best as possible and visit your ENT physician. Sometimes a steroid injection can be given but reassurance and observation usually allows these to resolve without any further treatment needed.

Inflammation (red, hot, tender swelling) is the body increasing the blood flow to the injury to bring healing factors to the area and also the veins expand to carry bad stuff away. Dressings and ointments are of no value there.  Avoid further trauma to the area and let nature take it's course.

When the duct to the Bartholin's gland is blocked, the cyst can turn into an abscess (pus pocket) that must be treated with minor surgery by a primary care doctor or gynecologist.  Applying clean warm/wet towels or warm sitz baths are okay for cyst.  If pain and swelling increases, a doctor must check this.
