Couple possibilities: Most bony lumps could by related to bony growths ( osteochondromas or exostoses) that project off bone near joint. Osteoarthris (arthritis with age) can produce lumps around joints in fingers. Bone spurs usually occur near joint and can be in distal fingers or around knuckle. .Ganglion cyst ( fluid filled) usually back of wrist adj. To tendon may be soft or hard. Concerned see physician.

Concern: By your description, sounds like they could be veins.  However, because they are hard, there might be a blood clot in them.  Whatever the case, You should take an aspirin and see a doctor soon to have them evaluated

i've had a lump under skin of my left hand for few weeks. it's firm but squishy. doesn't hurt but hand sometimes hurts. could it be a fatty deposit?

Need to remove it: It could be any number of diagnoses, including a synovial (join-derived) cyst, a non-synovial (hair follicle) cyst, lipoma (a fatty growth, but rather uncommon on the hands), or even an abscess ( a localized infection). I would remove this growth. A dermatologist/dermatologic surgeon or hand surgeon can do this procedure and once it is removed and biopsied you will know the diagnosis as well.

i have quite a pronounced lump on the lower right side of my abdoman which feels very firm compared to my left hand side. sometimes dull nagging pain ?

Lipoma: you may have a lipoma. Ask you doctor to check it or you at next your visit.
are you on any anticoagulation like Plavix, (clopidogrel) warfarin or xarelto?

It might be: A healing fracture, when it forms a callous.  But it could be something else, such as tumor.  Show it to orthopedic surgeon.
