my daughter is abroad for a semester. she just told me she's had a hard flat lump under the skin on the bottom of her foot for about 4 months now. it doesn't hurt. she said it's not quite the size of a quarter and it's near her heel. what could it be?

Plantar wart: It probably is a plantar wart. 
She could do warm soaks of the foot and apply an OTC topical for now &amp; have it checked by your family physician when she returns.

i have a really hard lump on the top of my head right above my forehead its flat on each sides of it but sticks up pretty high what could this be? and

For how long?: If all your life, it is probably a bony birth defect, not important.  
If recent, and if tender, probably a cyst or possibly a pimple or abscess. 
Try applying hot compress 3-4 times daily and see if it goes away.

i've noticed that my  2 yo has a lumpy back of head. lump seem to be symmetrical/hard.flat spots in certain areas and lumps in others. is this normal?

I'd have to examine: Kids do have some lumpy areas on the skull.Some are a prominence of the normal occipital ridge, some are lymph glands that are prominent because they are not buried in muscle of other tissue like they are in the rest of the body. I'd have to examine it to be sure but most "lumps"  are benign if they are not tender.

Plantar wart: most likely a wart which requires no treatment unless painful or uncomfortable to walk on

Wait it out: A "goose egg" like this will resolve with time.  As long as you did not lose consciousness and do not have progressive neurologic dysfunction you will be fine.

Don't jump...: ...To any conclusions. There are lots of causes of small hard lumps, and most of them are not tumors (or at least not the kind that are dangerous). Let a dermatologist look at them, and if necessary, biopsy them.
