i am passing hard ball like stools per past month. before its normal. why?

Constipation: Generally can result from decreased activity, water intake, fiber and increased dry foods, use of certain medications or drugs like Opioids. Need more information about your diet, life style and medical history

More fibre: It sounds like you just need a bit more fibre in your diet.There's no blood, no constipation, and the stools not hard - if it were, i'd suggest better hydration. So, add whole grain breads and cereal, fruits, and vegetables. You could try a bulk laxative, such as fibre con or equivalent - not to help you move your bowels, but to add bulk and consistency. Probably fine: Stools  can be round and ball-like. If you are concerned about them, you should try to increase the fiber and liquid in your diet. Sometimes even a fiber supplement such as Metamucil would be useful. You probably will see your stools bulk up if you do that. Good luck.

Unclear ?: If you are having loose bm months after taking an antibiotic, one needs to consider Clostridium difficile infection which can be life-threatening if gone untreated.  Get an appt with your doctor ASAP.  However this is an answer based on my best guess re.your question. If this is not the right answer, please provide a better description of your bowel symptoms.

Lumps and bumps: Lumps are upsetting to patients and doctors alike, and are not easily identified right away.  You need a good history and physical and probably some preliminary blood tests.  Start with your primary doctor.

Hemmorhoids: Sounds like these are hemorrhoids (swelling of the veins). Try sitting in a tub of warm water. You can also try OTC hemorrhoidal ointments.

i've had rock hard stool that is tennis ball sized round dark green.2-3 in a sitting. 20 min to pass. made up of other lil balls. very painful. ideas?
