Depends on details: Every case is different because it depends on what got damaged. There are important things in the legs besides bones. Leg tendons, arteries, veins, and nerves can be badly damaged. In the abdomen, there are also important things. Basically, only the superficial wounds would get one out the hospital quickly... unless it was in a war zone with many new casualties arriving daily.

Some shots to legs and arms can be fatal if major vessels are injured and freely bleed-tourniquets save lives!

A gunshot wound to the stomach would be repaired in the operating room with the patient asleep. An incision in the midline of the abdomen would be made to allow for careful examination of all the organs in the abdomen, including the stomach. Injuries would be sewn up and then the abdominal cavity rinsed.

Better to be seen by a doctor rather than risk a horrific infection and loss of function.
