ANUG: Acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis will cause the tip of your gum to necrose.  Bleeding in the area will produce variable sulfur compound (vsc) and producing halitosis (bad breath). Schedule an exam with your dentist.

i am not sure, what kind of bad breath i am having, even not sure, i am having or not. i had, due to decay tooth. i removed it. but now when i rub my gums with finger it smells bad. not sure, is it only coming from mouth or also nose. hard to explain?

: Accurate judgment of oral odors is difficult. Our smell system and brain tend to filter out odors that others would notice and even find quite strong. Best to ask a trusted friend or family member to help judge whether you have significant bad breath. Good luck.

Get a cleaning: Sounds as if you aren't keeping the area as clean as possible   also the band may be irritating the gum and keeping food particles there
see your dentist to evaluate what is happening and show you what you have to do to control the problem.

Symptomatic care: Give him Ibuprofen for the pain, fluids so he doesnt dehydrate and a softdiet if he can tolerate eating ice ream and popsicles also help.

: Have your wisdom tooth extracted, bacteria is forming around and under your wisdom tooth. This build up of bacteria is causing the odor to spread around your mouth, remove the cause and continue your good oral hygiene.

Gum disease: One possibility is gum disease.  The bacteria of gum disease can cause bad breath.  Another possibility with or without gum disease is the bacteria of the throat and nose are producing the odor.  Diet can be contributing as well as habits such as smoking.  In my office we would treat the gum disease or rule it out.  2nd i would prescribe anti bacterial rinse and xylitol gum, starting w small dose.

can i use mouth freshener chewing gum  during pregnancy? i ve very bitter taste in mouth and bad smell..

Yes: Gum should not have any problems. Just be careful not to get any caffeine added gums.

Sorry: Sounds as if you have infected gums, and you will need the services of a General Dentist or a specialist Periodontist to control the infection and help maintain your Oral Health.  The infection is progressive and will not self heal.
