If it is a strain.: If the groin injury is a muscle strain, massage can be helpful.  However, groin injuries should be evaluated by a doctor to rule out other causes, like hernias.  The most common strain involves the adductor muscles, but any ligament or muscle strain in the groin/hip area can be treated with massage.

Groin injury : Usually  pain if  trauma and injury.  In the groin , could be hernia or if active in sports a sport hernia,. If trauma to the testicles pain swelling  Usually  fertility should not  be affected if not severe But if there was trauma  or you have pain swelling  in the groin or testicle follow up with doctor urgent  care  today as there can  be twisting of testicle which is an emergency. f/u today

when should u worry about infertility with epididymis inflammation? doesn't hurt too much but might have had it for awhile..red lumps on side of groin

Epididymis pain: depends if you had this treated appropriately.  Antibiotics , warm compresses, tight fitting underwear.  Follow up with a urologist as well.

No, unless: It is far advanced.  Ed is usually caused by lessened blood flow to penis, and not affected by inguinal hernia unless it is so large that it obstructs blood flow.  Infertility is caused by inadequate sperm, so an inguinal hernia would not affect it unless it is so large that it affects both right and left testicles.

Possibly: Men who have both testes undescended in inguinal canal will almost definitely be infertile. However most men with a single fully descended testis are fertile, even if the opposite testiscle is in the inguinal canal.

hello i performed microsurgical varicocele repair surgery 8 months ago for pain only not for infertility. after 8 months i still have inguinal pain in the left testicle not completely resolved. 3 ultrasounds after surgery all normal, the reason?

: Studies have shown that surgery for varicocele most often fails to relieve the pain because etiology of pain is undefined in varicocele.

i have left varicocele from 4 to 5 years with no pain. but now my right testicle is paining. this pain got transferred in abdomen and pelvis. will this varicocele prove dangerous for me if left untreated for more time?and future infertility problems?

:  Without an exam  no definite answer can be given, Pl get evaluated by a Urologist. In the mean time wear a good support underwear. Varicoceles can but do not always cause infertility. The exam will provide a better answer

Not directly: Scarring could obstruct access of sperm cells to eggs released from the ovaries. Treatments can interfere with production of cervical mucus needed by sperm to help them on their way to the egg in fallopian tubes. If there isn't enough of this mucus, the sperm may never make it to their destination.
