No: common enough and  is called scleral melanocytosis
the melanocytes are the skin cells that add color to the skin and this can happen in the eyes also
see an opthalmologist if you are concerned, but is not a problem

my 2 year old has 2-3 small grey/blue spots on his sclera in both eyes since born, will he grow out of it? was told common and ok, but i worry

Normal: Just like our skin the sclera can have pigment changes as well.  These changes may or may not change over the course of your child's life.  It does not affect the vision.

Depends: Everyone has a blind spot in each eyes in the outer vision but mostly we are not aware of it.  If you developed a recent new blind spots then you need to see an ophthalmologist.

Brain compensation: The brain is the actual site of vision and it compensates for permanent things in the vision.  Both of your eyes have a blind spot, a spot with no light receptors where the nerve exits, which can be mapped out by your ophthalmologist in a test called visual field.  Your brain has learned to ignore these holes in the vision and fills them in so you are not aware of them being present.

i have in the last 2 weeks got almost a complete grey-blue tinge that covers most white of both eyes.  daily bloodshot n water v easily too.cause/fix?

Depends: Go to a doctor for evaluation and treatment. The grey blue tinge covering the whites of both eyes may be caused by a medication side effect or symptoms of a systemic disease E.g Certain drugs like Amiodarone can cause this color. Even taking an Acne medication for years can cause hyper pigmentation. Exposure to soluable silver compounds. Signs of Addison's disease. Go to Dr.

i have 2 black spots/lines in the outer corner of my eyes, and they are only visible when i pull the lower lid down. they are in both eyes in the same spot(outer corner). they aren't inflamed, don't hurt, and not raised. no other symptoms, just black?

: They are almost like the benign moles on your skin, not uncommon at all. They had probably been there before but you did not see it.
You can observe them for now, only see an eye doctor if they change in shape or size.

May be normal: It could be something called melanocytosis, which is usually benign and there since birth. To be sure, you could take him to a pediatric ophthalmologist (eye doctor).

my 5 year old has grey patches above her iris, more so on the white part of her eyes. i noticed she had a grey spot when she was younger but these patches are new. she was also prescribed glasses recently. should i worry?

: It's hard to know based upon your description. However, it would be a good idea to have her evaluated by an ophthalmologist to make sure it's nothing serious.

if i close one eye, i have faint grey vision, the other eye is clear. if both eyes are open i can see just fine. what could this be?

One dysfunctional I: Both eyes together in the presence of one bad eye can commonly be perceived as vision that is fine.  You seem to have one eye with a problem.  It could be uncorrected eyeglass need or some interior eye damage which is disturbing the vision.  You need to see an ophthalmologist to see what is the problem
