Cream or pill?: Impetigo is a common skin infection in kids.  It's often treated with Bactroban (mupirocin) Cream at first.  If it's been three weeks, then he needs to be seen again.  He may need oral antibiotic (pills or liquid) to clear it completely.

Seek care: It is important to identify the infecting organism with a culture and start antibiotics.  May not have completely drained and require incision and further drainage.Warm compresses can sometimes help

Infection: That can be an early sign of infection. Clean the cut well, at least twice a day, and keep putting the antibiotic ointment on. If it is showing more redness or more pus, see your doctor.

Sebaceous cyst: It is likely that you had a sebaceous cyst. The fluid you interpret as pus is just accumulated sebaceous gland secretions.

Otitis, see doctor: Clearly you have otitis externa, i.e. infection of the ear canal; and with impaired hearing, there's a good chance the infection also is inside the eardrum, i.e. otitits media involving the middle ear. This needs a doctor's care for diagnosis and probably an antibiotic prescription. Do it ASAP; delay could result in permanently reduced hearing.
