By : By the date of this post, i believe your performance date has passed. For the future or anyone who may benefit from reading this post, i will advise. It sounds like you did all the right things. In addition taking an anti-inflammatory like advil (ibuprofen) every 6 to 8 hours with food will help.. You may even want to visit your primary care provider and ask if a one time steroid injection is feasible. This would definitely help with the swelling and inflammation. Based on your history and the examination, your doctor will decide if this is a good option.

Not exactly: if you took a scissors and cut the hair, it wouldn't itch. Itching is a skin or lower issue. The pulling of hair if it pulls on the skin might. Some people get hives/histamine release from skin being rubbed/pulled irritated (anti-histamines help). Some feel itching instead of other sensations in the skin (nerve pills help).

Hello. : Hello. I do not know if you appendicitis.  Sometimes the pain from an inflamed appendix can start around your naval. The pain usually worsens and then can be felt in the area of the appendix (right lower quadrant of your abdomen). Usually the area is tender when touched. You likely donâ€™t feel like eating if you have appendicitis and you can experience nausea, vomiting or a fever.  You indicated that you have been coughing  & sneezing which makes the pain worse.  You certainly could have strained muscles from this. I once coughed so hard that i broke my rib.  The way I am visualising your pain, it doesn't jump out as appendicitis. However, with that said, appendicitis can have a number presentations.  The basic recommedation in medicine, is that any new source of severe abdominal pain should be emergently evaluated.  So, it you are having severe abdominal pain (i was having a hard telling if it was flank/back) you should have it evaluated post haste.

: When a muscle tears, it also tears connective tissue, nerves and lymphatic tissue. As the muscle heals, scar tissue binds the area and then over time, slowly softens. Nerves can take longer to heal and may continue to send pain signals during this time. Make sure not to reinjure the area, as scar tissue is not as strong as the original connections. Use antiinflammatories to help with pain.

Takes time: Hamstring strains can definitely take a long time to recover from, not unusual for this to not be recovered in 2 months.  Also can vary based on the severity of the strain.  It may be worth it to go to physical therapy at this point though, and depending on how bad it feels to get examined and thus it may be that an MRI could be useful.

: Your muscle will never be the same as prior to your injury. But there is no reason with proper rehabilitation and continue  to stretch and strengthen your muscles ,Not just the hamstring muscle. You can achieve improvement. The quadricep muscle is just as important. So all your muscles. You might be able to get it to 99% so do not give up. Remember you are still growing
