Hypertension: If you normally have normal blood pressure, a sudden rise to that level can cause those symptoms. A gradual rise is less apt to cause those symptoms. I'm unsure as to the reason the heart monitor went off unless a rapid or excessively slow heart rhythm occurred. You require follow-up by a physician or cardiologist to ensure proper evaluation and treatment of hypertension.

? Low Blood Pressure: This could be due to low blood pressure and also known as Orthostatic hypotension. Please see a doctor.

Hypotension: You may have orthostatic hypotension.  When you stand up, gravity pulls the blood in your veins downward and your blood pressure drops. Your heart rate increases to try to keep up with demand, however sometimes not fast enough. This can be caused by certain medications that lower blood pressure also. Visit your MD and they can measure bp as you stand. Stand up slowly and try to prevent falls.

Fear of fainting.: Severe anxiety can make you feel like you’re going to faint.  So your fear of fainting could be so strong that it’ll make you feel like you’re going to faint.

Type 2.refuse meds: The choice is always yours. But if you want to live awhile you need to change your diet and/or take meds to keep BS and BP control. The Best Diet for both is the DASH.  You want BMI &lt;25 and to move to the DASH EATING plan which I can detail if interested.

Exam advised: Your recurrent symptoms of 3 days duration warrants an investigation by a physician. Presyncope or feeling that you're going to faint raises the question of low blood pressure, anemia or abnormal heart rhythm and rate. Appropriate testing will be done in order to make a diagnosis and prescribe treatment or make a referral to a specialist depending upon the findings.

Coughing increases: the pressure in the thorax which reduces the normal blood return to the right side of the heart. This can result in a sudden drop in blood pressure and dizziness or fainting. The treatment is for the cough not the dizziness. A persistent cough for a few weeks needs to be evaluated and treated. You probably have developed reactive airways. Orthostatic : Hypotension is the most common explanation for this.  The autonomic nervous system regulates blood pressure responses to position. If you have been lying flat for a while then jump up, sometimes the  blood pressure doesn't keep up and blood flow takes a while to get to your brain. This happens with some meds. The best thing to do is to sit awhile before standing to let blood get to the brain.

Need evaluation: You could have a cardiac rhythm disturbance. You may have hypoglycemia. You may have a migraine prodrome and headache. There are other possibilities. You need a full evaluation.
