Impossible: You cannot develop glucose allergy because it is our main fuel and part of many of our molecular structure like cell membranes along with proteins.  You might be confusing it with the term intolerance which is just not being able to metabolize it

I'm: Not sure but by now there would have many issues wit it if that was the case. It's likely just a test to measure your ability to handle increase blood sugar levels.

Gestational diabetes: I presume you are pregnant. Your obstetrician will check your blood sugar at each clinic visit.

what is glucose challenge?

Screening test.: During the glucose challenge test, you will have to drink a sugary liquid (the glucose) and then they'll draw your blood one hour later.  This tests to see how well you process sugar.  If the test is too high, it means you can't process the sugar effectively, and you might be at risk for diabetes.  It's often done in pregnant woman to test for gestational diabetes.

Less than that:-(: Diabetes is defined as a glucose of higher than 126 while fasting or a random glucose of 200 or higher.  So normal would be less than those numbers.

Glucose powder: NONE!
Glucose can be found in many good foods and that is more enjoyable than powder.
That said, don't take too much glucose containing foods.

Absolutely not!: That is a dangerously high glucose.   Please get checked and begin treatment right away.  You may only have a couple of things wrong right now, but that could change rapidly into something very serious.   Don't mess around, get evaluation and treatment today.

If it: Was fasting and from a vein by a lab, it's in the prediabetes range. If it was random it's probably normal. If it was by fingerstick, ignore it as they aren't accurate enough for diagnosis. In any event, you need to use diet and exercise to lose weight.

Accepted Answer

Controlled: Allergy can be controlled with avoidance of known sources of allergy (pets, pollen, etc), medication taken consistently, and perhaps allergy shots. However we are not able to "cure allergy" but these measures help restore a good quality of life.
