Elder nutrition: The fasting glucose is too high for sure.  Glucerna is excellent and provides lower glucose.  Are eggs, puddings, yogurts options?

Quite Unlikely, Why?: Hypoglycemia most commonly driven by high carb/sugar foods &amp;/or some meds which drive glucose down (such as sulfonylureas &amp; insulin). In people routinely eating low carb high fat/protein foods, hypoglycemia rare because most glucose is from internal conversion of protein/fat by liver which is routinely smooth. However low-fat high-carb foods drive glucose &amp; insulin up followed by hypoglycemia.

Good for diabetics: Glucerna when compared to resource shakes and the shakes has better effect on blood sugar. Using the rest frequently may be due elevated bs. Most resource may soften  stool.

Yes : given that you have DM and are now decreasing your intake is the reason for better BS control. If it takes glucerna for you to control your diet then please continue. Your A1c as you may know reflects 3 months control and so please have it checked at that time frame and not sooner. Diet is key in glycemic control. Best of luck

I would highly recommend checking with your doctor before beginning the regular use of supplements such as ensure.

A few things: We don't really know what causes preterm labor, but there are a few things that tend to increase the risk:

serious trauma (wear your seatbelt!)
smoking
doing drugs
high order multiple pregnancies
uncontrolled diabetes

but for the most part we don't know.  A great answer would win the nobel prize for medicine!

Could be: I would just eat a balanced meal.  I guess it could be used as a meal replacement if you wanted to do that.
