This might affect individuals with a feeling of stimulation before the aniti-allergenic, sedative, anesthetic, and other qualities take effect. Yes...BUT: You could take up to 1 tbsp for cough relief, but the treatment for asthma is NOT phenergan (promethazine) DM.  Should be using albuterol and inhaled steroids and potentially other meds as prescribed.

No: Phenergan (promethazine) should not be given to a child younger than 2 years old. Phenergan (promethazine) can cause severe breathing problems or death in a child younger than 2. Carefully follow your doctor's instructions when giving this medicine to a child of any age.

Not clear: Prednisone not necessarily a cause of vomiting. Phenergan (promethazine) should  help but you need to find out  why you are  vomiting. Is it your  medical condition or a gastroentestinal problem such as ulcers, reflux, pancreatitis, etc. Let your physician know about this.

Most likely safe...: It is always hard to gauge how safe a medication is during pregnancy. Both of the drugs you mentioned are class c which is defined as drugs that have not been shown to be harmful to fetuses, but data is limiting; use if benefits outweigh potential risks. I guess i would ask how bad was your stomach pain from the cough. If it wasn't too bad, i wouldn't take anything (the safest alternative).
