Infliximab & Tonsils: At 7 days you are probably about to turn the corner in your recovery. Not sure why you are on infliximab, but b/c it is an immunosuppressant, you should make sure that your ENT & your primary doctor are collaborating on the timing of this. More frequent follow up may be warranted during recovery on a med like this. At facevalue prob won't make recovery any "harder" barring set-backs u would notice.

: Brush your tongue with baking soda. May have get some Mycelex lozenges. Delete sugar for a while. No smoking or alcohol

Tonsil stones : Sometimes when you have a tonsillectomy there is still a remnant remaining that could still cause tonsilloliths. Besides that, there is lymph tissue in the base of the tongue that might be a source of the problem. Brush your tongue in the back daily and gargle regularly. If no improvement in a month, see an ENT MD.

Call ENT: You should call the ENT who did the surgeon to handle this. Don't try to remove it yourself with a scissor since it may cause major damage. Not a do-it-yourself job.

Neti pots can : Reduce nasal congestion. Mix ¼ tsp salt w 1 cup lukewarm water. More salt can also be used. Place solution in neti pot.  Tilt head & pour solution into 1 nostril. Blow nose lightly & spit out any liquid that drains into throat. Repeat on other side. This can be done in the evening before you go to bed & again in the morning. You can watch a video online to get the finer details down. Mix a tsp of.

Mucus: Saltwater gargles: Mix 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water – gargle  Also consider use of a Neti Pot. Hydrate well with water, herbal teas or broths.

ColdSeasonIsADrag!!!: You tried to get rid of the congestion by what-ing it out? Anyways, hard to say exactly what you should do but it sure sounds like you're miserable. So...if you have a fever and bad sore throat and maybe some tender spots on the front side of your neck, then get to a doctor but even if not, if you're feeling this bad tomorrow, go get seen. Meanwhile take Motrin or Tylenol (acetaminophen) and keep up with fluids.
