MRSA: You need to have your nasopharynx (nose and back of throat) and skin cultured for mrsa.  If you are still a carrier then piercings are not a great idea.

Usually nothing: If Methotrexate (mtx) increases infection risk, it is minimal. Some published studies even show no increased risk. However, if mtx is taken for rheumatoid arthritis (ra), there is an increased infection risk due to the ra. If the RA is well controlled, some patients choose to skip mtx for a week while they get pierced (not usually necessary). Sterile piercing technique is far more important!

Infection risk: Hi. Body piercing carries an infection risk, albeit generally low (assuming proper technique). If your diabetes is tightly controlled, your infection risk should be low. However, if your control is poor, 2 things: 1) infection risk is higher, and 2) risk of long term diabetic complications is higher.

Yes: As long as you're not piercing an active infection. Practice good hygiene before, during, and after the piercing is important.

Not always: Sometimes if the piercing is removed - the hole will begin to close up - so that you lose drainage from the lesion.
