More info: Not every little bump on the skin is a viral wart. The location and duration of the lesion is also important: is it perianal? How long ag p did he notice it? What are his sexual habits? The best approach maybe to have the lesions removed and examined by a pathologist

Warts not cancer: Of the 4 or so HPV strains we know that trigger genital warts, none are associated with cancer. Swabs of the area can be studied similar to a pap smear &amp; tested for other non wart strains that are. A person can become infected with more than one HPV strain.

Mixed answer: There are blood tests for a variety of HPV strains (ELISA) but these are somewhat limited to research centers. The primary public testing for high risk strains is done on pap smear cells. The wart strains are not associated with forms of cancer.

Anal: Warts require treatment. A colon- rectal surgeon generally treat the condition even if the HPV strain is low risk for cancer

: It is possible but rare to have HPV without symptoms. Best to see your MD/Urologist who would examine and order appropriate tests

Easy but expensive: Testing for mutations in the brca1 gene is relatively easy; yes, the dna can come from white blood cells from a blood sample.  However as of now this remains a fairly expensive test; the new supreme court decision voiding the patent on the gene will probably lead to lower costs through competition but i don't think this has happened much yet.

No: There is no blood test to determine if you have an intolerance to certain meds. While allergies can be determined, general intolerances can not. In most cases, trial and error are the onlyy determining fators as to what you can or can not tolerate.

What for?: What will you do with the results? Would you change anything if you have 22 deletion, or if you do not have the deletion? If you want to waste your money, you can get the test done by 23 and Me, the company is accessible over the internet.

Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
