May be normal: Sexual arousal is half mental and half physical. The situation of firm erections only during certain activities is not by itself a problem. A primary care doctor can see if there are risk factors for erection problems. If all is physically ok, then it is up to the man to find more stimulating ways to do the things he would like to do. Finally, it is not a good idea to describe a woman as "loose".

No: As long as they are monogamous and neither becomes infected.  Anal intercourse does present other health hazards, including hpv and related cancers, just as does intercourse between straight couples. Pretty good: Hiv transmission is very high  in unprotected sex  one  has to inform the HIV status ( reveal ) to the partner, that is the law, should under take all safty precautions then chances are less to get infected

Very low risk: The chance such a partner has HIV is very low, especially if "sea" means you're in the Seattle area. And when a guy has HIV, the woman's chance of infection from a single episode of unprotected vaginal sex is about 1 in a thousand. Little HIV risk, but probably high STD risk. Get checked for gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc -- and probably HIV just to be extra safe. Also, get into the condom habit!

Trauma? STD?: Anal fissures ("tears") are common in anyone, but especially in people who have receptive anal sex ("bottom" in day to day terminology among gay men). Sexual injury is the usual cause, but STDs like herpes or syphils also are common. See a doctor or clinic ASAP for professional evaluation and perhaps STD testing -- the sooner the better for accurate STD diagnosis.

Mixed messages...: ...about your HIV risk. Rimming is little or no risk, but receptive anal ("bottom") is riskiest of all sex. Condoms good, theoretically no risk, but easily break in anal sex. Also ALWAYS discuss HIV status with partners before sex and avoid anal, even with condom, if positive (and not on treatment), if he doesn't know, or seems evasive about it. Skip these rules and HIV likely is in your future.

One could: but it would mean it is hard to get into good shape; not tht it is impossible. it would not mean that exercise would be worthless--likely has same benefits. Doesn't mean you can't lose someweight..just would be more difficult.

?: Oral sex does not transmit HIV  which can only be transmitted by blood-to-blood contact (sharing needles?)   The unexplained weight loss needs be worked up regardless.
