after upper endoscopy (no sedation, mild gastritis and esophagitis, weak les, one biopsy) my heartburn is much worse. why?

Did you go off meds?: Did a doctor ask u to stop treatment or medications prior to the test so that the test wd b more accurate? I suspect this is your case. Going off meds means a gap in treatment; if you have not restarted the medications, then there is further time for "wash out" (all meds wear off, given enuf time). Alternately, if the endoscopy showed no change, u cd have developed another problem altogether. TTYD

i have pan gastritis and i am infected with h pylori bacteria,taking antibiotics(4 weak) and killing this bacteria can completely cure this condition?

is it possible to have low stomach acid at my age? i had endo in jan, doc saw acid reflux and gastritis. but meds aren't helping and my hair is weak?!

Acid reflux: Acid reflux would not be caused by a low amount of stomach acid. It also would not have anything to do with your hair. If your reflux treatment is not working, you should double down on anti-reflux measures, including avoiding caffeine, alcohol.,chocolate, and any foods which makes the problem worse. See your doctor for changes in your medication since you are not improving. Good luck.

: Not typical symptoms of gastritis that cannot be ruled out completely either and may still contribute to some of your symptoms. Anxiety is likely contributing to some extent, other conditions are possible as well. Following up with your doc is recommended.

Nothing serious: Take Nexium (esomeprazole) or prilisec 40 mg. At night for 6 months .Avoid spicy foods and hot peppers. And dont worry. You will get better.

Yes: A balanced diet with significant limitation of food with irritant potential on the stomach, such as spicy or acid, is recommended. If overweight, losing weight may help with reflux symptoms, if any. Follow up with your treating physician as recommended.

Change your : Diet and ask your doctor about sucralafate. That might help. Also, avoid nsaids.

Many things: Alcohol, spicy foods, caffeine, acidic fruit or vinegar, stomach producing too much acid & gastrin producing tumors.
