LLQ ache /gas: If the pain worsens or you develop fever, profuse diarrhea, no BM for &gt; 3 days, nausea, vomiting, unable to eat,drink  sleep  seek immediate attention. Also call the office of the doctor you will be seeing and discuss with LLQ pain/gas them , ask about diverticulitis as well and if GI work up is negative consider ovarian/fallopian tube/vaginal issues..

Possible: The main organ in the left lower abdomen is the colon. If you are not having regular bowel movements make sure you increase your water and fiber intake. As with any unusual abdominal pain, if it rapidly worsens or doesn't improve after a good BM see your MD.

Abdominal pain etio.: It would be important to know there is tenderness with pushing on the left lower quadrant and how long this occurred and if there is fever or chills or other symptoms including gastrointestinal symptoms . How long has this occurred and has it occurred in the past .. certainly , it should be followed by your doctor require a CAT scan .. even at a young age one could develop diverticulitis or IBD.

Primary bowel issues such as colitis- inflammatory, infectious, IBS. Even an appendicitis can present on left side at times.
