my doctor gave me fucidin cream to put on my upper lip dark patches how long does it take to clear up?

Fucidin is topical: Antibiotic for treating susceptible skin infections. Ask prescribing doc what condition s/he is treating. Lightening dark spots is not a listed use for this medication. If dark spots r caused by a skin infxn, the product may help, but ask doc.

i had a red, flaky rash around my mouth, doc gav me fucidin h cream, wk l8r+dryness gone but still red altho has faded, how will redness go? thank u

Rash around mouth: A rash by the sides of the nose that is flaky could likely be seborrheic dermatitis which is very common and can be managed but never cured.  Fucidin h has a topical steroid and can be effective, but be careful because steroid use around the mouth can cause or exacerbate perioral dermatitis, which is easily recognized and treated by a dermatologist.

i had cut in corner of mouth. antifungal cream didn't heal. fusidic acid cream's working (3 days using). when can i stop using it? can i kiss my bf?

Cuts are other thing: angular cheilosis or cuts in the corner of the mouth can be fungal,  can be caused by a vitamin deficiency, can be caused by an overclosed bite or dentition, or a number of problems.  If the antifungal cream was used for 2 weeks and did not work may assume that it is the wrong medication or it is not fungal.  An Oral Surgeon should be seen.

When it is healed: Keep using the cream and don't kiss until the cut heals.  Probably will take 5-7 days.  If it doesn't heal or keeps breaking open, see your doctor.  Good luck!

Unlikely combination: I don't know of any reported interactions between fucidin cream and the common skin lighteners, which usually use hydroquinone as their active ingredient. But I've never run into a situation where both were used at the same time on the same area of skin. Dark spots are not usually infected, and vice versa.

Bad diaper rash?: Rashes are hard to describe in words, so for bad diaper rashes, visits to the doctor may be needed. Haven't heard of Fucidin (websites say it is an antibacterial cream; not in the U.S. Perhaps). For babies with bad diaper rashes, we know that not wearing a diaper will help. Zinc oxide creams help, but one must not rub the skin when trying to clean the butt. Anti-yeast creams may be added, etc...

No: Fucidin cream is a topical antibiotic that treats numerous topical (except for pseudomonal) infections. It contains sodium fusidate. As far as I am aware, it does not contain zinc.

i have a cream called fucidin-h i want to use but the box says use within 3 months of opening expires in 2017. i used it in march. can i still use it?

Follow instructions: just follow instructions. It may not harm you but it may not be that effective
