NO: Loads of controversy has swirled regarding ms and trauma, but looking at all of this, it is quite clear that there is no real relationship btwn the cause of ms and any kind of trauma. There is some possible tendency to worsen ms with open head trauma, that is penetration through the skull, but not with a closed head injury.  In short, your injury did not cause ms.

: Maximimum post traumatic brain healing occurs over 12-18 months and is often incomplete. After then, there no further improvements and TBI issues are chronic

Due to time passage, independent improvement is unlikely, but you may benefit from speech therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, or even memory enhancing agents.

Hard to say: It is hard to say. From your question, it sounds as though you had injury demonstrated either by ct scan or MRI scan. One may have no problems at all, it depends on the size of the injury and the exact location in these regions. If you are asking what these areas typically do: r frontal:  smell, memory, impulse control, left sided movement.  L parietal: speech, language, right sided movement.

Check with your doc: This should be evaluated by a neurologist. Most likely there is nothing that can be done about it but there are some very rare diseases that may be the underlying cause. Neurologist is a must.

Depending on the type of disability and degree of dysfunction, Psychology, Psychiatry, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy may also be important to involve in the overall care.

THAT RESULT IS: Consistent with small blood vessel atherosclerotic cerebrovascular disease. Very common in patients with hypertension and or diabetes, but unusual if younger than 50-60-70's.
