Headaches are common: Stress ha 's often happen in the afternoon in evening and usually come and go and improve when you are distracted.  Migraine ha's also happen in the afternoon and evening but are more severe and are usually relieved by going to sleep.  With migraines usually one of your parents get ha's.  Try to keep a regular schedule, eat regular healthy meals and sleep 8 hrs a night.  Getting tired causes ha.

Migraine?: Increasingly frequent headaches are associated often with chronic prescription or otc meds, with rebound.  Migraine headaches can cluster and become more frequent if new triggers arise.  Sometimes food sensitivities may be the answer, but other triggers include, sinus, tmj, neck, tos, hypertension, thyroid, etc.  Most of these are easily treated and reversed.

What's frequent?: You'd be amazed how differently people define frequent. Current general rule is that &lt;15 H/A days/mo is "sporadic" &amp; &gt;15 is "chronic." If you have H/A's for 3 yr without changes, the chances of the H/A's being due to something "bad" drop to no more than someone without H/A's. Meaning you could have a brain tumor, but the chances are no greater for you than for someone with no H/A's at all.
