all i want to know is if it is safe to take advil 12 hours after taking aleve.  i take aleve during work(12 hour shift) then come home and usually in pretty severe pain again by then.  would it be safe to take advil at that time for relief to sleep?

Yes: It would be safe to take the medication as you described. 
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

2 twice a day: 2 twice a day is a reasonable/ recommeded dose. Conditions such as high blood pressure and kidney disease can alter the recommended dose of alleve. The med you are on is primarily a pain killer.  You did not say what the cause of your pain is.  That may also alter the medication dose and choice.

i have severe pain due to my wisdom teeth coming in. they are not infected and are coming in properly. can i take aleve (naproxen) and then take oxycodone later?

Wisdom teeth: make sure you have been checked by the dentist to see if the wisdom teeth are growing in OK.  You may think they are fine but they may be pushing on the other teeth to readjust the bite. Varies: Your choices may be limited to either trying to find a medication regimen that is safe for you and see if it is effective, or seeing a specialist to diagnose the specific cause if your symptoms and see if there might be a fix to it.

TOO MANY: 5 Aleve (naproxen) at the same time? That is too much. The package says take 1 pill up to 2 times a day. Never take more than the label says unless your doctor says it is ok. 5 alave can make you feel nausea. This is why they print how many to take safely on the labels.

: Both those meds can be tough on the stomach &amp; are best taken with food. I just wouldn't take them simultaneously.
