No: That raised bright red spot with sharp margins likely would have happened anyway &amp; will lead to a freckle. You will probably see others as well. If you still have concerns, send us a picture, or see a clinician locally. Hope that helps.

No..perhaps you sent: a picture of this pigmented spot, but it is not here as I read and answer your question:)  You don't really say where this "freckle" is....that doesn't matter too much anyway. Frequently it seems something "appears overnight" but often it has been there and we just haven't noticed it before. Concerns include if it is enlarging, if border is irregular, how dark it is. Safe to watch for a few weeks.

i have purple-ish colored dots about the size of a freckle that have appeared on my right forearm overnight. they are flat, not itchy or painful and only in a 2inch wide by 8 inch long. 1st time w/these but believe they may be petechiae. concerning?

See your doc: Penile lesions can range in etiology from inflammatory, infectious, or malignant causes.  There are also other possibilities.  See a primary care physician and get it checked.

48 to 72 hours.: The symptoms include fever, malaise, and sometimes a foul smelling vaginal discharge. Since it was just overnight for the  tampon, it is unlikely to be a problem as Toxic Shock Syndrome occurs in most cases with an object left in the vagina for days.

However, compliance is low due to the inconvenience and there are limits to the degree of improvement that can be achieved and other interventions such as steroid injections or scar revision surgery may be required for an optimal result.
