What is the best thing to use to help reduce the appearence of scars?

Top silicone sheetin: Usually speaking topcial silastic (silicone gel) sheeting is considered one of the best interventions to reduce the appearance of scars once they have developed. However, compliance is low due to the inconvenience and there are limits to the degree of improvement that can be achieved and other interventions such as steroid injections or scar revision surgery may be required for an optimal result.

Multiple options: There are many different scar creams out there with varying degrees of science behind them and clinical information. In my office, we offer skinmedica's scar recovery which has shown good early results.
