: You can do as much as you are able. Listen to your body. If there is sharp pain, then back off a bit. Some mild soreness afterward is fine.

Quad tear: At a pelvic location most tears will heal with rest. Occasionally surgical repair is needed, and usually due to a displaced tendon attachment tear in an athlete.

Minimum: 2-3 weeks; however depending on the extent of the repair and time in OR 4-6 weeks is logical. I strongly recommend postoperative physical therapy.
