Accepted Answer

Do not use force: If it tugs or does not come easy do not force this and bring the child to the er. Ask your child to sniff to let this come out.

It shouldn't: As long as the object doesn't go down the windpipe and obstruct the main airway, both the mouth and the other nostril would supply air.

Blow it out: For young children. Occlude the non-affected bare, place your mouth over theirs with a good seal and give a quick "puff" of breath.  This often will blow the object out..  Be warned that the object and mucous may hit you in the face when you do this.   For older kids or adults, simply attempt to blow it out by blowing the nose. If unable to do this then seek medical care.

i am struggling with dry painful eyes. i got prescription glasses last year but it's not helping. i have noticed small bump on the white part of my eyes close to the nose side. it feels like a foreign object that's causing me pain and discomfort.

Need a lubricant: Prescription glasses will help only with the vision component not the dry eye problem. You should also be using an eye lubricant or replacement tears type of drops for your eyes. These are sold over the counter or by prescription by your opthalmalogist. Also have the eye dr check your bump as it may be caused by irritation.

Foreign  body in eye: The best way to to flush a foreign body from your eye is to completely  fill a cup with water &amp; blink your eye in it several times on top of the sink until you see it in the cup, the shower  head might be too strong for your eye. If this fails please see your  doctor  or an ophthalmologist.  Good luck

Be seen: It could be many things, including an abnormality of the blood vessels that may require cauterization.  See your family doctor or ENT for an opinion.  In the meantime, afrin (oxymetazoline) nose spray can sometimes help temporarily, but this sounds like you need to be evaluated.

my 8yo has had for years an infection odor surrounding her head. inside r nostril shows a swollen red lump. history epistaxis. foreign object or what?

Foreign body: With the story you tell it is very conceivable that she has a foreign body in her nose. The swollen red lump can represent a response to a foreign body or it may be a nasal polyp she should have an ENT physician take a peek up her nose to verify the problem.

Hi ahead: Iliadin may raise BP slightly . If your pressure is well controlled it's probably safe for short term use. 3 to 5 days periodically.

i was wondering if there's any medication to prevent sweating on the nose such as prescribed deodorant ?

There are injection : Botox .Dermatologists do this under the arms.
