i had a sudden mole show up on my smallest toe, i'm not sure how long it's been there but i would say pretty recently. within a few months.  i have pictures of it.  problem is i can't see a dermatologist around here for at least a month or more.... is there anything i can do in the meantime?  my dad has/still has melanoma spots show up all the time so it is concerning to me.  brown center slightly raised bumpy area in it/tanish red outside of that very irregular border.

Concerning lesion: One possibility could be high resolution virtual medicine  consultation with a dermatologist. That is something that has been done for many years with success. However, if a biopsy was needed, you would still need to eventually be seen in person.

i have a 1.5 centimeter melanoma on the bottom  of my foot.  how serious is the depth of this?

Thick: Melanomas are considered thin when they are less than 1 mm thick and they are considered thick when they are greater than 4 mm thick.  If your melanoma is truly 1.5 cm thick, this would indeed be a very thick melanoma. Check with your doctor to be sure about the depth and that it is not 1.5 mm.  A  1.5 cm melanoma would be at high risk for lymph node and distant spread and has a poor prognosis.

dark area appeared overnight on my three weeks ago. someone may have stepped on my foot that night but im not sure. im scared of melanoma. thank you?

So have the : Skin biopsied...A 2mm punch is all the skin needed and this way you will be at peace.

i just noticed a freckle on the bottom of my foot that was not there before.  how do i know if it is plantar melanoma?

See a dermatologist.: A dermatologist will be able to tell you if it is a benign freckle, or if it needs to be biopsied. Don't delay, because if it does need to be biopsied, the sooner it is done, the better.

Skin lesion: If you have a mole or other skin lesion that has changed in shape (such as seeming to "split"), it's very important to have it evaluated by a dermatologist or family doctor with training in skin disease. You may need a small biopsy. Even if the lesion doesn't show any other ABC signs of melanoma, it's better to be safe than sorry!

hello i have lines on two toes on two different feet the lines are faint and you cant really see the lines and im worried because i heard that it can be melanoma?

: Melanoma usually causes a dark, wide line -- not a thin, faint one.  And it would be highly unusual to develop two melanomas in different locations at the same time.  However, if you are worried, let a dermatologist examine your toes and give you a definitive diagnosis.

See doc: Many dark brown spots are ok but some are melanomas.  Even experienced professionals may have trouble telling them apart.  See a dermatologist.

i have a freckle on my foot its tan but kinda seems like mixed tan and dark tan it changed shape a bit too i did dig it off cuz im a panicked should i be worried of melanoma? it wasnt itchy or anything im just scared itll grow undetected?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. It would be prudent to consult your doctor to ascertain if the lesion needs to excised so the tissue could be examined by a pathologist.

No: Foot warts are different than melanoma, and are approached differently.  Melanoma is very serious, and if you have a questionable skin lesion you should bring it to your doctor's attention immediately. Not knowing seems to be scary to you now.  Why not have it checked out and [likely] get started on appropriate care.
