Absolutely NOT!: Of a all the components that contribute to the unhealthy American lifestyle, fast food is one of the most pernicious. I advise healthy diet, regular exercise, NO FAST FOOD, not processed (white) grains, minimal processed foods, and minimal sugar (and no high fructose corn syrup). It&#x27;s easier than it sounds once you commit to it. Bottom line...NO FAST FOOD!

Even salads at fast food restaurants contain lots of calories typically from the dressing of fried toppings. The best way to lose weight is to avoid processed food and concentrate on a whole food approach. to sum it up eat lean meats, fruits and vegetables.

Poor nutrition : The food one eats is the fuel your body needs to perform. As an athlete who wants to perform at a high level, it behooves you to put the best fuel possible in your body. Fast food is one of the worst fuels possible. Consider less processed foods and more natural whole foods.

Try not too!: If at all possible try to avoid eating fast food, as the high sodium and fat content can change your child's taste buds and makes them crave these types of foods.  If you need quick meals try picking up sandwiches at your local deli or getting salads to go.  Sometimes it can be helpful to spend one day on the weekend making a bunch of food with leftovers to be used during the rest of the week.
