Not usually: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) does not usually affect electrolyte levels on its own.  Use of diuretics could, though.

Yes!: Magnesium is a natural relaxant for nerve excitability. Both can increase anxiety, if you are deficient, and if you are low, then you should take steps to correct this! potassium deficiency can cause cardiac rhythm problems, or worse! diuretics frequently causes dual deficiencies!

im having symptoms of low potassium or low magnesium. i had labs in early november but dont think my magnesium was included in cmp draw. potassium was ok at the time. can my doctor test my magnesium?

Labs: Serum magnesium is a common lab test. The serum magnesium may be normal but we usually  have no way of knowing what the intracellular level is. When characteristic symptoms are present I still recommend a magnesium supplement if the patient doesn't have kidney disease.

good day, i had previous low potassium n magnesium issues known anaemic on iron supplements. current under alot.of wrk stress had an anxiety attack tight chest palpitations etc ws awful.  please advise on what bloods i should do as i'm concerned?

About what: would you be concerned. If you have recovered from the acute illness you are back to where you were before it. 
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Low K: I suspect you are losing potassium via kidney in your urine.  No comment on diarrhea so unlikely GI source. Could be secondary to Diamox.  Have your doctors get 24 hr urine collections and make decisions

Florinef (fludrocortisone): Florinef (fludrocortisone) causes salt and fluid retention. The fluid retention may cause a rise in bnp. Suggest you discuss result with your md. Lowering of the potassium is a known side effect of Florinef (fludrocortisone) use.

See below: A low potassium level has many causes, some are due to decreased intake, some due to increase loss from the skin, gut eg loose stools, urine eg alcohol intake, tubular problems or magnesium deficiency.Others are due to shift of potassium into the cells.

Periodic paralysis?T: This sounds to me like hypokalemic periodic paralysis. I've seen good physicians miss this. Please read up on it, see if this fits you, talk with your physicians, see if a diagnosis can be made, if it can, discuss the implications with your family.
