Beans, nuts, seeds: 1 cup of tofu has 20 grams protein, 10 grams of fat & 4 grams of carbohydrates.
All beans, lentils and chickpeas are good sources of protein, as are nuts & seeds. Hemp seeds contain as much protein as any food and it is a "complete" protein. Quinoa is the highest protein grain. Flatulence: Foods with air pockets (such as salad, broccoli or califlower) or foods which promote the growth of air-producing bacteria (like beans) will cause flatulence.  Ibs-c can be difficult as many foods which have fiber and prevent constipation can cause trouble.  You should keep a food diary with the foods you eat and the symptoms you are having.  Stay away from foods that cause trouble for you.

Nutrition: Good fats are polyunsaturated like fish, nuts or monounsaturated like olive oil rather than butter,red meats, coldcuts pastries. Unhealthy carbs are refined sugar found in sweets,refined bread. Healthier carbs are the complex ones such as pasta, whole grain bread, oatmeal,potatoes,rice. It's advisable that you obtain a book on nutrition which gives you much more detail.

Nuts may be best bet: Don't know whether you are looking for snack or regular foods.  Of course meat would be the obvious answer, but nuts contain very good fats as well as significant protein. Almonds and walnuts are probably best.  So do cheeses.  Of course they have calories, but you do need fats and calories at your age to continue to develop normally.

i'm underweight my bmi is 14 does it mean my body is in ketosis? i eat sugary foods, fruits, carbs and protein but very less fat is in my daily diet. also i have ocd. but people suggest that its good to do keto diet for ocd to bring down sugar levels?

: Ketones are the break down product of fat when the body uses it as an energy source by converting it to sugar. Your BMI does not determine whether you are in ketosis, that is determined by the moment-to-moment stage of your metabolism.  I would maintain a good balanced diet and not pursue self-treatment based on supposed benefits. Seek professional care for OCD if present.

I think it depends: My brief research into this suggests it is debatable &amp; depends somewhat on your goals: bodybuilding vs. fat loss vs. maintenance. More carbs are needed for body building, and many fewer for fat loss.  40-60% carbs are recommended for body building, with 25-35% protein and 15-25% fat. You might target somewhere in the middle: 50% carbs, 30% protein, 20% fat. Good luck!

It stores fat - big time! so keep Insulin low by avoiding sweets and starches. Use green veggies as a sole source of carbohydrates to optimize your weight. It doesn't get any simpler or more successful than that.
