Hard to know...: When trauma is involved, most endoscopists will minimize biopsies during the  "rescue" endoscopy, opting instead to bring the patient back for a second look when the inflammation has calmed down.  It is at the time of this second endoscopic look that dilation and extensive biopsies can be more safely pursued. Your biopsy may have included a check of cmv, herpes, fungus, h.Pylori or none of these.

Esophageal thrush: The primary symptoms of esophageal thrush include chest pain, particularly when swallowing, difficulty swallowing, nausea and/or vomiting, and occasional weight loss. The best way to diagnose it when suspected is by biopsy or scraping for a sample during endoscopy. If you are concerned that you may have this, see your doctor or a gastroenterologist. Good luck.

It does not make sen: If the lymph nodes are not palpable or swollen, how can you attribute the pain to the lymph nodes? You need to go see a doctor to help you sort it all out for you.

Some basics: The digestive tract is populated with germs/candida that contaminate our fingers/food &amp; survive the stomach acid. Probiotics are simply supplements that contain germs that may benefit the taker by occupying space &amp; taking food away from candida.They don't cause candida, but may not prevent it. The other mentioned symptoms are unrelated.
