Not sure: It doesn't sound like something that is normally associated with clindamycin or stopping it, for that matter.  Are you sure you're not just getting sick or something?  Sometimes illnesses can change your perception of tastes and smells.  I hope this helps!

If there are other nasal symptoms like discharge, sinus congestion and pressure, there may be an infection going on that needs treatment. If this is a short-term problem, you may not need to do anything and give it a little more time to improve. If you are very concerned, see an ENT.

a lot of time it is related to intolerance to foods like excessive milk drinking.this could also account for his constipation
he should drink no more than 16-20 oz of milk and eat more fruits and vegetables

Not unusual: Disturbance in taste is not unusual following a course of antibiotics. This side effect should resolve after a brief period,however. I expect your sense of taste will return to normal in another week or so.

Fever symptoms: Fever and diarrhea may come from "food poisoning" , but ammonia odor is just a byproduct of rapid gastro-intestinal transit.  If the diarrhea and fever persist, see your healthcare provider for testing. Save a stool specimen for analysis , b/c parasites can also cause these symptoms.

Yes, maybe: An ammonia test measures the amount of ammonia in the blood. Most ammonia in the body forms when protein is broken down by bacteria in the intestines. The liver normally converts ammonia into urea, which is then eliminated in urine.

Ammonia levels in the blood rise when the liver is not able to convert ammonia to urea. This may be caused by cirrhosis or severe hepatitis.

See below: Hyperosmia (heightened sense of smell) is usually caused by a lowering of the threshold for odors.  The causes can be genetic, environmental or the result of withdrawal from some kinds of drugs, depression, anxiety.  It is also associated with addison's disease and cystic fibrosis.  I would see you doctor and talk about this.
